When Seattle Parks and Recreation sought to renovate the iconic Gas Works Park playground, they wanted play equipment that would be challenging, durable, and inclusive while reflecting the park’s industrial heritage. By utilizing the Berliner Play Equipment line, Allplay Systems delivered a custom play environment that mirrors the park’s famous towers through high-quality stainless steel and complex rope geometry. The playground features a large Neptun net climber with a stainless steel slide, Flubber ramp, and Jungle Bridge for children ages 5-12. For 2-5 year-olds, a Quadropolis net house, stainless steel slide, and suspension bridge were provided in addition to a large disc swing and several spinning elements.
